May 8, 2012 Eighteen Month Update!

Yesterday I received an 18 month update and new photos of Luke Joseph!  He looks just beautiful and very healthy!  I spoke with the director of my adoption agency last Thursday and she let me know the update was on the way.  She wanted to let me know how magical my adoption case has been, based on her years of experience.  She told me that she has never matched such a young child with such minimal needs!  She told me she has never seen anything quite like it!  I told her that I am very aware of the blessing, as are my dear friends and family!  This is what we were able to learn from the ladies who are taking care of Luke at this time...this was sent from the adoption agency liaison in China, translated by her...

1, The caregivers will usually talk to him. If he wants something to eat, he will reach out his hand. If he wants toys, he may grab from other kids' hands. If he cannot get what he wants, he may cry.
2, Now his main food are con gee and rice cereal. The brand of formula is YI LI- a well known brand in China. I will suggest the orphanage to bring a bag of that. when the family gets him.
3, Up till now, he is not allergic to anything.
4, He loves outdoor, usually he will play at the orphanage garden.
5, He is outgoing, loves toys, if the caregiver plays with him, he will be very happy.
6, His nick name is Hui Hui
7, When he is unhappy, the caregiver will usually talk to him, play with him or hold him. That will comfort him.
